OPTIMISTIC OR IDEALISTIC
A new survey carried out by Cirencester Friendly reveals British people are more likely to buy pet insurance than income protection. This is just one of the findings in a survey carried out by Cirencester Friendly and featured exclusively in the Mail on Sunday
The survey showed that many people were resolutely optimistic or even idealistic about maintaining their finances, this wasn’t always matched by having adequate provision in the event of being absent from work due to illness or injury for long periods. Of the people questioned, almost 40% said they didn’t have any contractual sick pay written into their employment contract and only 11.7% thought they’d be unable to work for 12 weeks or more due to illness or injury.
